Cruise Control Ecu Circuit Check

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1996 Suzuki X-90 and 1996 Suzuki Sidekick. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. To check voltage circuits, using voltmeter, make indicated circuit checks on harness side of CC ECU harness connector with connector installed on CC ECU. SeeFig 1 and Fig 2 .DO NOT  make any circuit checks directly on terminals of CC ECU without connector installed or CC ECU may be damaged. If voltage checks are within specification, go to next step.
  2. To check resistance circuits, ensure ignition is off. Disconnect electrical connector at CC ECU. Using ohmmeter, make indicated circuit checks on harness side of disconnected CC ECU harness connector. See Fig 1 and Fig 2 .DO NOT  make any circuit checks directly on terminals of CC ECU with connector installed or CC ECU may be damaged. If all circuits checks are performed and all circuits are okay but system still does not function, substitute CC ECU and recheck system operation.
