Throttle Valve Opening Signal Circuit Check

  1. Ensure ignition is off. Disconnect electrical connector at CC ECU. Turn ignition on. Using voltmeter, check voltage between ground and CC ECU connector terminal No. 2 while opening and closing the throttle. SeeFigure . Voltage should vary as throttle is opened and closed.
  2. If voltage does not vary with opening and closing of throttle, check fuses, wiring and electrical connectors for related wiring circuit. See appropriate wiring diagram under WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Repair fuses, wiring or electrical connectors as necessary.
