RWAL ECM

NOTE: Terminal numbers for RWAL power relay are a mirror image of connector terminals. See Figure.
  1. Lower RWAL ECM from under dash so rear of harness connector can be accessed with a DVOM. See RWAL ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULE  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
  2. Using a voltmeter, backprobe at each terminal of RWAL ECM connector under conditions described in RWAL ECM PIN VOLTAGES table.

1 Isolation Solenoid 0 During Normal Driving
10-15 During Hard Braking
2 Brake Warning Light 10-15 When Brake Light Is Off
0-3 When Brake Light Is On

4 Valve Reset Switch 4-5 During Normal Driving
0-0.5 During Hard Braking
5 & 6 Not Used - -
7 Diagnostic Test 3-5 Test Terminal I sOpen
0-0.5 Test Terminal Is Grounded
8 Stoplight Switch 0-0.5 No Brake Applied
10-15 Brake Applied
9 Rear Wheel Speed Sensor (1) 3.5 At About 20 MPH
10 Rear Wheel Speed Sensor (1) 3.5 At About 20 MPH
11 RWAL ECM Ground 0 Normal Condition
12 & 13 Not Used - -
14 Power Supply (Ignition) 10-15 With Ignition On
15 Not Used - -
16 Power Supply (Battery) 10-15 Normal Condition
17 Dump Valve Solenoid 0 Normal Driving
