Shift Switch Circuit Check (A/T)

  1. Ensure ignition is off. Disconnect electrical connector at CC ECU. Using ohmmeter, check continuity between ground and CC ECU connector terminal No. 14 with shift lever in Park or Neutral. SeeFigure . Continuity should exist.
  2. If no continuity exists, check wiring and electrical connectors for related wiring circuit. See appropriate wiring diagram under WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Repair wiring or electrical connectors as necessary.
  3. If wiring and electrical connectors are okay, check shift switch. See SHIFT SWITCH (A/T)  under COMPONENT TESTING.
