Transmission Position Sensor/Switch: Adjustments

ADJUSTMENT





1. Disconnect select cable from manual shift lever.
2. Shift manual shift lever to "N" position.
3. Check that center line on manual valve shaft and "N" reference line on switch are aligned. If not, align them according to following procedure.
4. Loosen transmission range switch bolts.
5. Turn transmission range switch gradually and align "N" reference line on switch to center line on manual valve shaft.
6. With alignment made as above, tighten switch bolts to specified torque.
Tightening Torque
(a): 20 Nm (2.0 kg.m, 14.5 ft. lbs.)
7. Connect select cable to manual shift lever and adjust it.
