Description & Operation

Power window system consists of 4 motors or actuators. All models use a master power window switch located on driver's door trim panel. Individual power window switches are mounted on each door.

Battery voltage is applied to all window switches when ignition switch is in ON position. The master power window switch has a lock-out function to prevent unwanted operation of all power window switches (except driver's side master power window switch) by providing ground for all switches and motors. The master power window switch also contains a solid-state auto-down circuit for the driver's window.
