Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor

CKP sensor is mounted on bottom front side of oil pan. CKP sensor consists of a pick-up coil and magnet. CKP sensor generates an AC voltage signal as signal rotor on crankshaft timing belt pulley rotates. This signal is sent to ECM/PCM and is used to monitor misfire conditions.
