Transmission Range Switch (TRS - A/T Only)

TRS is located on transmission, next to shift linkage. TRS switch is an on/off switch that turns on and sends a voltage signal to ECM/PCM when transmission is in Park or Neutral. ECM/PCM uses this signal to control fuel injectors and idle control system.
