Oxygen Sensor: Testing and Inspection
Oxygen Sensor Heater On-Vehicle Inspection1. For sensor-2, remove console box.
2. Disconnect sensor coupler.
3. Using ohmmeter, measure resistance between terminals "VB" and "GND" of sensor coupler. If found faulty, replace oxygen sensor.
Resistance of oxygen sensor-1 heater
2 - 6 Ohm at 20 °C, 68 °F
Resistance of oxygen sensor-2 heater
5 - 7 Ohm at 23 °C, 73 °F
4. Connect sensor coupler securely.
5. Install console box if removed.
