Main Relay (Computer/Fuel System): Testing and Inspection

1. Disconnect negative cable at battery.




2. Remove main relay (1) from relay box.




3. Check resistance between each two terminals.

If check results are as specified, proceed to next operation check.

If not, replace.

Main relay resistance
Between "1" and "2": infinity (infinity)
Between "3" and "4": 70 - 110 Ohm




4. Check that there is continuity between terminals "1" and "2" when battery is connected to terminals "3" and "4". If found defective, replace.
