Key Coding Procedure

CAUTION:

When learn the transponder key, does not. take keys, at the same time.
After ignition on, K.line is cut off max 3 seconds.
If the transponder learnt, RKE is also learnt, automatically.
The master key's access code must not forget and leaked.

Connect the Scan Tool to the Data Link Connector (DLC).
Turn the Scan Tool "ON" by pressing the "Power" Button, then wait for the MAIN MENU screen to be displayed
From the MAIN MENU screen, select "Diagnostics" by pressing #1 on the Key Pad.
From the MODEL YEAR screen, select the appropriate model year of the specific vehicle by either scrolling down to the year and pressing "ENTER", or by pressing the respective item number on the Key Pad.
From the SYSTEM SELECTION MENU screen, select "Body" by pressing #2 on the Key Pad.
From the BODY SELECTION MENU screen, select "Coding" by pressing #3 on the Key Pad.
From the CODING SYSTEM screen, select "Coding Only" by pressing #1 on the Key Pad.
From the SECRET NUMBER OF CODINGS screen, enter 4 0's (0-0-0-0) in the 4 boxes labeled "1-2-3-4".
From the CODING SYSTEM SELECT screen. Select "IMMOBILIZER" by pressing #1 on the keypad.
NOTE: A slight delay may occur and "PLEASE WAIT" may be displayed before the next screen appears.
From the FUNCTION SELECTION screen, Select "KEY CODING" by pressing #1 on the keypad.
From the IMMOBILIZER KEY CODING screen, enter 6 Access Code in the 6 boxes labeled "00-00-00".
Continue programming immobilizer key coding when directed by the Scan Tool until all immobilizer key coding have been programmed
Once all transponder have been programmed, press the "ESC" button on the keypad. The display will confirm the number of transponder.
Turn the Scan Tool "OFF" by pressing the "POWER" button, then disconnect it from the Data Link Connector.
