Control Module: Testing and Inspection

Learning Control Initialization
1. Remove steering column hole cover (1).
2. Using service wire, connect diagnosis switch terminal (3) and ground terminal (4) of blue monitor connector (2).





3. Turn ignition switch ON but engine stop.
4. Shift select lever to L range.
5. With brake pedal and accelerator pedal depressed fully, repeat ON and OFF operation of O/D OFF switch 5 times within 10 seconds.
6. Confirm that O/D OFF lamp is turned OFF to complete memory initialization.

NOTE: When initialization is achieved, O/D OFF lamp neither light nor flash unless diagnosis switch terminal is once disconnected from ground terminal of monitor connector. If initialization is failed, re-try initializing procedure.
