Conditions for Setting the DTC

There are 3 separate tests that can set this DTC code.

Test 1 (Torque Control)

• The engine is operating.
• The ECM detects that the delivered torque does not match the desired torque.

Test 2 (Steady State Torque Control)

• The engine is operating.
• Engine speed > 800 rpm
• Desired Flywheel torque is within 20 N.m band for 1 sec.
• The ECM detects that the delivered torque does not match the desired torque.

Test 3 (Redundant Torque Return)

• Pedal Position < 0.8%
• Engine Speed - Desired Engine Speed > 0
• Driver input is the desired torque source.
• Injectors are enabled.
• The ECM detects that the fuel flow exceeds requirements.
