Control Valve Body Assembly Installation

Reference: CONTROL VALVE BODY ASSEMBLY ASSEMBLE .

1. Rotate the transmission assembly so that the I.D. tag is facing up.
2. Install 2 new case fluid passage seals (86) into the transmission case fluid ports.

3. Shift the transmission into Neutral (N).
4. While holding the control valve body assembly (39), connect the manual valve link (336) to the manual shift detent lever assembly (710).

5. Install the 6 control valve body assembly to transmission case bolts and hand tighten.
   • 2 - M6 x 1.0 x 16 mm (34)
   • 2 - M6 x 1.0 x 28 mm (35)
   • 2 - M6 x 1.0 x 55 mm (47)

   CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
6. Tighten the control valve body assembly to transmission case bolts in sequence.

   Tightening torque 

   Tighten the control valve body assembly to transmission case bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in)  .

7. Install a new control valve body fluid passage cover gasket (38).
8. Install the control valve body fluid passage cover (37).
9. Install the 2 - M6 x 1.0 x 50 mm control valve body bolts.

   Tightening torque 

   Tighten the control valve body bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in)  .
