THEFT DETERRENT MODULE REPLACEMENT REFERENCE

Preliminary Procedure Disable the SIR. Refer to SIR DISABLING AND ENABLING . Remove the steering column trim covers. Refer to STEERING COLUMN TRIM COVERS REPLACEMENT . Program the theft deterrent control module after replacement. Refer to CONTROL MODULE REFERENCES .
1	Module Assembly, Theft Deterrent Tip: Pull out away from ignition cylinder and disconnect the electrical connector.
