Fail-Safe Control

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2010 Suzuki Kizashi. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Keyless start control module operates fail-safe control when an abnormality related to keyless start system is detected and stops all control in order to protect system. Details of fail-safe control vary depending on the detected DTC, see Fail-Safe Table .

NOTE: When a malfunction of power window system and immobilizer control system is detected, keyless start control module does not perform fail-safe control. However, in power window system, each power window switch separately performs fail-safe control to stop AUTO mode, see POWER WINDOW SYSTEM FAIL-SAFE FUNCTION (FRONT DOORS ONLY) .
