Using Voltmeter

- Remove following parts.
- Instrument panel undercover, center console box, side sill inner front scuff and dash side trim. INSTRUMENT PANEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION / CENTER CONSOLE BOX REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION / TRIM REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
- Turn over floor carpet on passenger's side.
- Remove P/S control module cover, see P/S Control Module Removal and Installation
- Push engine switch to change ignition mode to "ON".
- Measure voltage between terminals "2" - "8" and "7" - "8" of P/S control module "rotation angle sensor/torque sensor" connector (1). If check result is not as specified, replace steering gear case.
Torque sensor voltage
Between terminals "2" - "8": 2.5 ± 0.127 V
Between terminals "7" - "8": 2.5 ± 0.127 V
