DTC Troubleshooting

DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE CHART

Step Action YES NO
Circuit fuse check
  1. Confirm that the ignition mode of keyless push start system is in "OFF".
  2. Disconnect "E10" and "E11" connectors.
  3. Check for proper connection to "E10-8" and "E11-1" terminals.
  4. If connection are OK, check "P/S" fuse and "IG1 SIG" fuse for blowing.

Are they in good condition?
Go to Step 2. Replace fuse(s) and check for short to ground in circuits connected to fuse(s).
P/S control module power supply circuit check
  1. Check voltage between "E11-1" terminal and ground.

Is voltage 10 - 14 V?
Go to Step 3. "A1" circuit is open.
IG1 power supply circuit check
  1. Push engine switch to change ignition mode of keyless push start system to "ON".
  2. Check voltage between "E10-8" terminal and ground.

Is voltage 10 - 14 V?
Go to Step 4. "A2" circuit is open.
P/S control module ground circuit check
  1. Push engine switch to change ignition mode of keyless push start system to "OFF".
  2. Check resistance between "E11-2" terminal and ground.

Is resistance 1 Ω or less?
Go to Step 5. "A3" circuit is open or high resistance.
P/S control module ground circuit check
  1. Connect "E10" and "E11" connectors.
  2. Start engine.
  3. Check voltage between "E11-2" terminal and ground when steering wheel fully turned to left or right.

Is voltage 0.5 V or less?
"A1" and "A3" circuits are in good condition. "A3" circuit is open or high resistance.
