Revision History:
- 2023-09-18: Updated to one procedure that can be performed regardless of contactor state.
- Revised software reinstall instructions. The most notable (but not the only) updates are as follows: Contactors closed - check for "VCFRONT_a402_LVBatteryCannotSupportVehicle" alert before initiating FW reinstallation. Contactors open - Check LV battery SoC and HV Battery BMS state before initiating the 2nd FW reinstallation.
NOTE:
This procedure describes how to reinstall the currently installed vehicle software using the center display. The package will not be downloaded from Tesla servers.
