Gateway Unlock: Unlocking

  1. If Service Mode or Service Mode Plus is not yet enabled, enable Service Mode through the touchscreen. See Service Mode .
    NOTE: GTW LOCKED will be displayed on the instrument cluster and the MCU.

  2. Press and hold the brake pedal, and then push and hold the turn signal stalk fully up for at least ten seconds.
    NOTE: The instrument cluster and MCU briefly display GTW UNLOCKING. Once the gateway is unlocked, the instrument cluster and MCU will display GTW UNLOCKED and a countdown timer that indicates the remaining time in seconds for the gateway to be unlocked (max. 90 minutes).
