Remove And Install

  1. Open LH front door
  2. Lower LH and RH front windows
  3. Open RH front door
  4. Move RH front seat backward

    NOTE: Via center display > Controls > Frunk Open

  6. Power off vehicle via center display

  7. Remove rear underhood apron
    NOTE: 11x clips, 2x datums

  8. Disconnect LV battery connector and First Responder Loop
    NOTE: 2x connectors, Lift up and release green locking tab, Pull black connector lock outwards to release connection, Release red lock tab on FRL

  9. Remove RH underhood apron
    NOTE: 11x clips, 2x datums, Remove brush clip at hinge cover first, Take note of clip at headlamp

    NOTE: 1x connector, Depress lock on underside of connector before pulling out of socket, Possible damage to PCBA may occur if removed without releasing lock first

  34. Remove car computer from vehicle
    NOTE: 2x bolts, 10 mm, 7 N.m, 1x nut, 10 mm, 8 N.m, Remove any residual coolant from vehicle

  36. Secure coolant hoses to car computer coldplate assembly
    NOTE: 2x spring locks, Place coolant absorbent mats or rags around the car computer, Remove coolant plugs, Ensure spring locks engage and perform pull-push-pull test on each hose coupling

  37. Remove coolant hose clamps
    NOTE: 2x hoses, Remove absorbent material, Clean residual fluid, Inspect for leaks

    NOTE: Ensure that the fluid level is at the Max line, Top off fluid as required

  46. Connect the First Responder Loop and LV battery connector.
    NOTE: 2x connectors, Secure FRL first, Seat LV battery connection and push black connector lock inwards to secure, Engage upper locking tab when fully seated

  47. Install RH footrest panel
    NOTE: Rotate RH footrest panel into vehicle, Fold RH primary support carpet down

  61. Install frunk assembly
