Remove And Install

- Open LH front door
- Lower LH and RH front windows
- Open RH front door
- Move RH front seat backward
- Open hoodNOTE: Via center display > Controls > Frunk Open
- Power off vehicle via center displayNOTE: Controls > Safety & Security > Power Off
- Remove rear underhood apronNOTE: 11x clips, 2x datums
- Disconnect LV battery connector and First Responder LoopNOTE: 2x connectors, Lift up and release green locking tab, Pull black connector lock outwards to release connection, Release red lock tab on FRL
- Remove RH underhood apronNOTE: 11x clips, 2x datums, Remove brush clip at hinge cover first, Take note of clip at headlamp
- Remove LH underhood apronNOTE: 11x clips, 2x datums, Remove brush clip at hinge cover first, Take note of clip at headlamp
- Remove front underhood apronNOTE: 12x clips, 3 datums
- Remove frunk access panelNOTE: 3x clips, 3x hooks, 1x connector
- Remove frunk carpet
- Remove frunk assemblyNOTE: 8x bolts, 10 mm, 5 N.m
- Remove RH front floor mat
- Remove RH footwell coverNOTE: 3x magnets, 1x connector, 4x datums
- Remove RH console side carpetNOTE: 11x clips, 2x datums
- Remove RH front sill plateNOTE: 5x clips
- Remove RH IP end capNOTE: 3x clips
- Remove RH mid A-pillar trimNOTE: 1x clip, 1x locating clip
- Remove RH lower A-pillar trimNOTE: 1x bolt, T25, 5 N.m, 2x clips
- Fold RH front cabin carpet aside for access
- Release harness from RH footrest panelNOTE: 1x clip
- Release RH footrest panelNOTE: 2x bolts, 10 mm, 5 N.m, 2x nut, 10 mm, 5 N.m
- Remove RH footrest panelNOTE: Fold RH primary support carpet up, Rotate RH footrest panel out of vehicle
- Release connector to gaming MCUNOTE: 1x connector, Depress lock on underside of connector before pulling out of socket, Possible damage to PCBA may occur if removed without releasing lock first
- Release connector to connectivity moduleNOTE: 1x connector, Move release lock rearward before removal
- Release connections at LH side of entertainment motherboardNOTE: 6x connectors, Release locks on connectors before removal
- Release connections at LH side of AP motherboardNOTE: 7x connectors, Release locks on connectors before removal
- Release connectors at RH side of entertainment motherboardNOTE: 6x connectors, Release locks on connectors before removal
- Release connectors at RH side of AP motherboardNOTE: 3x connectors, Release locks on connectors before removal
- Install coolant hose clamps to coldplate hosesNOTE: 2x hoses, Place coolant absorbent mats or rags around the car computer
- Release coolant hoses from car computer coldplate assemblyNOTE: 2x spring locks, Install coolant plugs at both hoses and car computer
- Remove car computer from vehicleNOTE: 2x bolts, 10 mm, 7 N.m, 1x nut, 10 mm, 8 N.m, Remove any residual coolant from vehicle
- Install car computer to vehicleNOTE: 2x bolts, 10 mm, 7 N.m, 1x nut, 10 mm, 8 N.m
- Secure coolant hoses to car computer coldplate assemblyNOTE: 2x spring locks, Place coolant absorbent mats or rags around the car computer, Remove coolant plugs, Ensure spring locks engage and perform pull-push-pull test on each hose coupling
- Remove coolant hose clampsNOTE: 2x hoses, Remove absorbent material, Clean residual fluid, Inspect for leaks
- Install connectors at RH side of AP motherboardNOTE: 3x connectors
- Install connectors at RH side of entertainment motherboardNOTE: 6x connectors
- Install connections at LH side of AP motherboardNOTE: 7x connectors
- Install connections at LH side of entertainment motherboardNOTE: 6x connectors
- Install connector to connectivity moduleNOTE: 1x connector, Slide lock underneath connector
- Install connector to gaming MCUNOTE: 1x connector, Confirm connector locked into socket
- Remove coolant bottle cap
- Inspect coolant level and top off as necessaryNOTE: Ensure that the fluid level is at the Max line, Top off fluid as required
- Connect the First Responder Loop and LV battery connector.NOTE: 2x connectors, Secure FRL first, Seat LV battery connection and push black connector lock inwards to secure, Engage upper locking tab when fully seated
- Install RH footrest panelNOTE: Rotate RH footrest panel into vehicle, Fold RH primary support carpet down
- Secure RH footrest panelNOTE: 2x bolts, 10 mm, 5 N.m, 2x nut, 10 mm, 5 N.m
- Secure harness to RH footrest panelNOTE: 1x clip
- Fold RH main carpet back into place
- Install RH footwell coverNOTE: 3x magnets, 4x datums, 1x connector
- Install RH lower A-pillar trimNOTE: 1x bolt, T25, 5 N.m, 2x clips
- Install RH mid A-pillar trimNOTE: 1x clip, 1x locating clip, Verify weather seal is seated properly
- Install RH IP end capNOTE: 3x clips
- Install RH front sill plateNOTE: 5x clips
- Install RH front floor mat
- Move RH front seat to original position
- Raise RH front window
- Close RH front door
- Perform a cooling system check and fill. See Cooling System (Partial Refill and Bleed) .
- Install frunk assemblyNOTE: 8x bolts, 10 mm, 5 N.m
- Install frunk carpetNOTE: Verify carpet is properly seated under the seal
- Install frunk access panelNOTE: 3x clips, 3x hooks, 1x connector
- Install front underhood apronNOTE: 12x clips, 3x datums
- Install LH underhood apronNOTE: 11x clips, 2 datums
- Install RH underhood apronNOTE: 11x clips, 2x datums
- Install rear underhood apronNOTE: 11x clips, 2x datums
- Close hood
- Calibrate the rear doors.NOTE: If the "Calibration Needed" message appears on the vehicle touchscreen, touch and hold Calibrate to calibrate the rear doors.
- Raise LH front window
- Close LH front door
