Ground Strap - Front Drive Unit - Remove And Replace: Remove

  1. Remove the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Install) .
  2. Disconnect LV Power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect) .
  3. Remove the cowl screen panel. See Panel - Cowl Screen (Remove and Replace) .
  4. Remove the wiper module. See Wiper Module (Remove and Replace) .
  5. Release the clip that attaches the electrical harness to the front drive unit LV harness bracket.

  6. Remove the captive bolt that attaches the ground strap to the front drive unit from the front drive unit.

  7. Remove the bolt that attaches the front drive unit ground strap to the LH casting, and then remove the strap from the vehicle.
