Front Drive Unit Assembly - Ground Straps, Front Drive Unit - Remove And Replace: Install

Install the bolt that attaches the front drive unit ground strap to the HV battery.
10 N.m (7.4 lbs-ft)
NOTE:
Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
- 10 mm socket (for installation only)
- Ratchet/torque wrench (for installation only)

Install the clip that attaches the front drive unit ground strap to the front drive unit.
Install the bolt that attaches the front drive unit ground strap to the front drive unit.
6 N.m (4.4 lbs-ft)
NOTE:
Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm socket
- Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
- Ratchet/torque wrench (for installation only)

Put on HV insulating gloves to slowly latch the release handle while pressing the front drive unit HV harness connector into the front drive unit.
NOTE: Use the front drive unit HV harness connector special tool to install the front drive unit HV harness connector.

NOTE: The front drive unit alignment teeth and HV harness connector alignment teeth should be interlocked.

Install the bolt that attaches the front drive unit HV harness to the front drive unit.
10 N.m (7.4 lbs-ft)
NOTE:

- Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
- Ratchet/torque wrench (for installation only)

Install the rear aero shield panel. See REAR UNDERTRAY AND DIFFUSER - MODEL 3/Y, REAR AERO SHIELD - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
Install the 2nd row lower seat cushion. See 2ND ROW SEAT ASSEMBLIES - 2ND ROW SEAT CUSHION - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
Connect the LV power. See LV BATTERY - LI-LON - DISCONNECT AND CONNECT .
Install the rear underhood apron. See UNDERHOOD TRIM - REAR APRON ASSEMBLY - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
Remove the vehicle from the 2 post lift. See RAISE VEHICLE - 2 STANDS .
