Throttle Position Sensor (TPS)

The throttle position sensor (TPS) is mounted on throttle body and is directly connected to throttle linkage. The sensor, a rotary potentiometer, signals ECU of changes in throttle valve position. The information provided by this sensor is used for controlling fuel injection duration.
