Compressor Speed Sensor: Testing and Inspection


1. On Camry and Corolla (RWD), disconnect electrical connector to revolution sensor and measure resistance of sensor.
2. If resistance is not 220-280 ohms for Camry or 200-260 ohms for Corolla rear wheel drive, at 68 degrees F., sensor is defective.
