Solenoid Relay Circuit Continuity

  1. Using a DVOM, there should be continuity between terminals No. 6 and 7 and terminals No. 2 and 4. See Figure. There should be continuity between terminals No. 2 and 8 or 10.
  2. Connect positive lead of DVOM to terminal No. 2 and negative lead to terminal No. 9. DVOM should indicate continuity between terminals. Reverse DVOM leads. DVOM should now indicate no continuity. If readings are not as specified, replace control relay.
