Solenoid Relay Operation

Apply battery voltage to terminals No. 1 and 3. Using a DVOM, there should be continuity between terminals No. 4 and 5. Check that there is no continuity between terminals No. 2 and 4. See Fig 1. If readings are not as specified, replace relay.
