Steering System - Electronic Power: Testing: Computer

Raise vehicle and support on chassis stands. Remove glove box or console. DO NOT disconnect computer. Start engine. Using a voltmeter, check that there is no voltage between computer terminals "SOL +" and "SOL-" with engine idling. Place transmission in gear and raise vehicle speed to test specification. If voltage is not to specification, replace computer.
