Pick-Up Coil Resistance Test

  1. Measure pick-up coil resistance at ignition module terminals under distributor cap.
  2. If resistance is incorrect, replace pick-up coil/breaker plate assembly. Remove ignition coil (if equipped) and replace distributor assembly on all other models.
