Inspection Of DP System: Inspection

Warm up engine. Check idle speed and adjust, if necessary. Check DP setting speed. Remove the cap and filter from the DP. See Figure. Race the engine at 2,500 RPM for a few seconds. Plug the VTV hole. See Figure. Release the throttle valve. Verify the DP setting speed is at 2,000 RPM. If not at specified speed, adjust with the DP adjusting screw. See Figure. Reinstall the DP filter and cap.
