Continuity Testing
Connect ohmmeter leads to terminals of clutch start switch. With switch in ON (pushed) position, continuity should exist. With switch in OFF (free) position, continuity should not exist. Check distance of plunger tip from threaded end of switch where continuity changes. See CLUTCH START SWITCH CONTINUITY SPECIFICATIONS . See Fig 1. Replace or adjust switch as necessary.
