Knock Sensor

Information for testing of knock sensor is not available from manufacturer. Use diagnosis in trouble Code 52 and 53 charts. Some models only have trouble Code 52. For trouble code charts, see G - TESTS W/CODES - 4-CYL article in the ENGINE PERFORMANCE section.

NOTE: No. 1 knock sensor is located on front of cylinder block and No. 2 knock sensor is located on rear of cylinder block.
