Power Steering Pump Specifications: Reassembly

  1. To reassemble, reverse disassembly procedure. Use NEW "O" rings. Lubricate all components with ATF. Coat lip of NEW oil seal with ATF before installation. Using socket of appropriate size, tap in oil seal.
  2. Install rotor with inscribed mark facing away from front plate. Install cam ring with inscribed mark away from front housing. Install vane plates with rounded edges facing away from rotor. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
