Clutch Switch Test

NOTE: Cruise control clutch switch and starter clutch switch are not to be confused with one another. Cruise control clutch switch is used only for the cruise control system. Starter clutch switch is used for starter circuit.

Disconnect cruise control clutch switch connector. Connector is located near clutch pedal. With clutch pedal released, continuity should not exist between switch terminals. With clutch pedal depressed, continuity should exist between switch terminals. If continuity is not as specified, replace clutch switch.
