Front Suspension

  1. Measure riding height, camber, and steering axis inclination. See WHEEL ALIGNMENT SPECIFICATIONS . If adjustment is necessary, see appropriate adjustment procedure.
  2. Measure caster of both front wheels. If caster is not within specification, add or remove shims on upper control arms on 2WD models. On 2WD, adjust shim thickness between front and rear locations to within .16" (4 mm). If measurement cannot be met, adjust strut rod length by adjusting strut rod nuts. See Fig 1. On 4WD models, loosen and rotate adjuster cams. See Figure.
