Vehicle Access Code Programming
NOTE:
Ensure key is not in ignition switch. Open and unlock driver's door. Close and lock other doors.
- Perform this step in 40 seconds or less: Insert key in ignition switch, then pull out. Press door lock control switch 5 times to LOCK/UNLOCK at about one-second intervals. Close driver's door. Open driver's door.
- Perform this step in 40 seconds or less: Press door lock control switch 5 times to LOCK/UNLOCK at about one-second intervals. Insert key in ignition switch. To put system in rewrite mode, turn ignition switch from ON to LOCK positions 2 times at about one-second intervals. Remove key from ignition switch.
- Perform this step in 3 seconds or less: Integration relay automatically performs LOCK/UNLOCK operation one time at one-second intervals to inform operator that add mode has been selected. Integration relay automatically performs LOCK/UNLOCK operation 2 times at one-second intervals to inform operator that rewrite mode has been selected.
- Within 20 seconds, press transmitter switch for more than one second. Within 3 seconds, press transmitter switch for more than one second. Integration relay automatically performs LOCK/UNLOCK operation 1-2 times at one-second intervals to inform operator that it has received signal from transmitter. If LOCK/UNLOCK occurs once, registration of recognition code is completed. If LOCK/UNLOCK occurs twice, registration of recognition code was not completed. Repeat programming procedure.
- After programming is completed, registration of recognition code is completed after 15 seconds since integration relay response, driver's door is closed, key is inserted in ignition switch, or four types of recognition codes are registered at one time.
