Test No. 9: Door Unlock Detection Switch Circuit: Testing

  1. Check operation of door unlock detection switch. See POWER DOOR LOCKS - TRUCKS article. If door unlock detection switch operates properly, go to step  2. If door unlock detection switch is faulty, replace door lock motor.
  2. Check for faulty connectors and wiring between door unlock detection switch and body ECU. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
  3. Repair wiring or connectors as necessary. If connectors and wiring are okay, go to next test listed in appropriate SYMPTOM INDEX table under TROUBLE SHOOTING .
