Variable Valve Lift (VVL) System: Notes

NOTE: VVL system may also be referred to as Variable Valve Timing Lift Intelligent (VVTL-I or VVTL-i) system.
NOTE: If problem exists in VVL system, a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) may be stored in Engine Control Module (ECM). See SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM in SELF-DIAGNOSTICS - INTRODUCTION article for retrieving and servicing of DTCs.
