Headlight Control Switch

Remove necessary steering column covers for access to headlight control switch. See Figure. Disconnect 17-pin electrical connector from bottom of headlight control switch.

Using ohmmeter, check for no continuity and continuity between specified electrical terminals on headlight control switch in relation to headlight control switch position. See HEADLIGHT CONTROL SWITCH CONTINUITY table. See Fig 1. Replace headlight control switch if defective. See HEADLIGHT CONTROL SWITCH under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
