Fuel System Pressure Release: Sienna

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Place container below fuel line connection at fuel filter. Cover fuel line connection with shop towel.
  2. Slowly loosen or disconnect fuel line connection, allowing fuel pressure to be released. Once fuel pressure is released, fuel system components may be serviced. Reinstall negative battery cable after service procedures are performed.
    NOTE: It may be possible that power sliding doors may not operate properly after battery was disconnected. It may be necessary to perform power sliding door reinitialization procedure to obtain proper sliding door operation. See POWER SLIDING DOOR REINITIALIZATION PROCEDURE  under PROGRAMMING.
