Inspection Procedure

Check voltage between terminals 1I-2/1L-20 and 1J-8 of body ECU connector.
PREPARATION:

Turn the ignition switch ON.

CHECK:

Measure the voltage between terminals 1I-2/1L-20 and 1J-8 of the body ECU connector.

OK:
1. Voltage: 9-14 V
2. OK: Proceed to next circuit inspection shown in problem symptoms table. See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLES .
3. NG: GO TO NEXT STEP
Check ECU-IG and ACC fuses.

PREPARATION:

Remove the ECU-IG and ACC fuses from the J/B No. 1.

CHECK:

Check the continuity of the DOME FUSE.

OK:
1. Continuity
2. NG: Replace faulty fuse.
3. OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
Check ignition switch. See INSPECTION .
1. NG: Replace faulty ignition switch.
2. OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
Check for wire harness and connector between body ECU and body ground. See LOCATION .
1. NG: Repair or replace wire harness or connector.
2. OK: Check and repair wire harness or connector between body ECU and battery. See LOCATION .
