Wireless Door Lock Control System Buzzer

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Toyota Camry and 2002 Toyota Camry. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE: Toyota uses the term wireless door lock control system buzzer even though the sound produced more closely resembles a beep.
  1. The buzzer operational mode can be turned on or off by the vehicle operator. To change the operational mode of the buzzer, enter vehicle and leave driver door open.
  2. Insert key into ignition switch and remove it. Within 5 seconds, insert key into ignition switch again and turn it to ON position. Wait 10 seconds, then push any button on remote transmitter 2 times in 10 seconds. Buzzer should sound twice to signal that the buzzer operational mode has been changed. If this procedure is not followed exactly, the buzzer will not operate as expected.
  3. After changing buzzer operational mode, check the buzzer operation by operating the remote transmitter. If the operational mode does not respond as expected, repeat procedure from step  1.
