Inspection Procedure

  1. Check ECU-B2, DOOR fuse. 

    CHECK: 

    Check continuity of ECU-B2, DOOR fuse.

    OK: Go to Next Step 

    1. Continuity 
    1. NG: Replace faulty fuse. 
    2. OK: Go to Next Step 
  2. Check voltage between terminals BDR1, BECU and GND1, 2 of Body ECU connector. 

    PREPARATION: 

    1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
    2. Disconnect the Body ECU connector.

    CHECK: 

    Measure the voltage between terminals BDR1, BECU and GND1, 2.

    OK: Go to Next Step 

    1. Voltage: 10-14 V 
    1. OK: Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptoms table (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  ). 
    2. NG: Go to Next Step 
  3. Check wire harness and connector between Body ECU and body ground (See  HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE  ). 
    1. NG: Repair or replace wire harness or connector. 
    2. OK: Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptoms table (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  ).
