Self-Diagnostic System: Notes

The body control ECU maintains information on power door lock control system through its self-diagnostic system. The body control ECU diagnostic process consists of the body control ECU basic inspection to ensure the body control ECU is operating properly. Basic inspection includes:

Retrieving diagnostic trouble codes when the system is operating properly.
Clearing diagnostic trouble codes after the repair has been identified.
Confirmation that repair resolved the complaint.
