Security Function

NOTE:
Perform this test with driver window fully open to prevent locking vehicle.
- Insert key into ignition switch. Close all doors and ensure driver window is fully open. Remove key from ignition switch and open driver door. Move driver door lock knob to LOCK position and close driver door. Ensure all doors will NOT unlock when driver door key lock cylinder is rotated to UNLOCK position (backward).
- Remove key from ignition switch. Close and lock driver door by rotating driver door key lock cylinder to LOCK position (forward). Ensure all doors will NOT unlock when driver door key lock cylinder is rotated to UNLOCK position (backward).
- Remove key from ignition switch. Close driver door and lock all doors with remote transmitter (if equipped). Ensure all doors will NOT unlock when driver door key lock cylinder is rotated to UNLOCK position (backward).
- To reset power door lock switch (cancel security function); turn ignition to ON position, unlock all doors with key or remote transmitter (if equipped), or unlock either front door with lock knob and then unlock all doors with either power door lock switch.
