Inspection Procedure

Check operation of door courtesy light.
CHECK:

Check that door courtesy light comes on when door is opened, and goes off when door is closed.

OK:

Must be operated normally.
1. OK : Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptoms table (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE ).
2. NG : Go to Next Step
Check driver courtesy switch (See INSPECTION ).
1. NG : Replace driver courtesy switch.
2. OK : Go to Next Step
Check harness and connector between transponder key ECU and driver courtesy switch (See HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE ).
1. NG : Repair or replace harness or connector.
2. OK : Check and replace transponder key ECU (See HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE ).
