Inspection Procedure

Check battery positive voltage.
OK:
1. Voltage: 10 -14 V
1. NG: Check charging system.
2. OK: Go to next step
Inspect SMT-B fuse.
PREPARATION:

Remove SMT-B fuse from the FL Block and J/B No. 1.

CHECK:

Check continuity of SMT-B fuse.

OK:
1. Continuity

1. NG: Check for short in wire harness related to SMT-B fuse ( PROCEDURE ).
2. OK: Go to next step
Check wire harness and connectors between transmission control ECU and battery ( PROCEDURE ).
1. NG: Repair or replace wire harness and connector.
2. OK: Replace transmission control ECU ( PROCEDURE ).
