Section 463 (Air Conditioning): Condenser: Installation

  1. INSTALL CONDENSER 

    Install the condenser with the 2 bolts.

    Torque: 7.4 N.m (75 kgf.cm, 65 in.lbf)

    NOTE: Be careful not to damage the condenser and radiator.
  2. INSTALL LIQUID TUBE AND DISCHARGE TUBE 
    1. Remove the cap.
    2. Coat 2 new O-rings with compressor oil.
    3. Install both tubes with the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 5.4 N.m (55 kgf.cm, 48 in.lbf)

      If condenser was replaced, add compressor oil to the compressor.

      Add: 40 cc (1.4 fl.oz.) 

      Compressor oil: ND-OIL 8 or equivalent 

  3. CHARGE REFRIGERANT TO REFRIGERATION SYSTEM 
    1. Evacuate air from the refrigeration system.
    2. Charge system with refrigerant and inspect for leakage of refrigerant.

      Specified amount: 500 +/- 50 g (17.64 +/- 1.76 oz.)
