Cruise Control Main Switch: Replacement

DISCONNECT BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL (See AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS )
REMOVE STEERING WHEEL COVER LOWER NO. 2
REMOVE STEERING WHEEL COVER LOWER NO. 3
REMOVE HORN BUTTON ASSY (See DRIVER-SIDE AIR BAG MODULE )
REMOVE CRUISE CONTROL MAIN SWITCH
1. Disconnect the connectors.
2. Remove the 2 screws and cruise control main switch.

INSTALL HORN BUTTON ASSY (See DRIVER-SIDE AIR BAG MODULE )
Do visual check which includes the following item with the horn button assy (with airbag) installed in the vehicle: Cuts, minute cracks or marked discoloration on the horn button assy top surface and in the grooved portion.
INSPECT HORN BUTTON ASSY (See DRIVER-SIDE AIR BAG MODULE )
INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT (See AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS )
