How To Proceed With Troubleshooting
NOTE:
Troubleshoot in accordance with the procedures as follows.
- VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP
- Go to next step.
- CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS CHECK AND SYMPTOM CHECK (See
CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS CHECK )
- Go to next step.
- PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (See
PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE )
- When problem is not listed on problem symptoms table, proceed to A.
- When problem is listed on problem symptoms table, proceed to B.
- B: Go to step 5
- A: Go to next step.
- PERFORM TROUBLESHOOTING ACCORDING TO MALFUNCTION SYMPTOM
- Pre-check (See
PRE-CHECK ).
- Inspection with the hand-held tester (ECU DATA LIST).
- Inspection with the hand-held tester (ACTIVE TEST).
- Circuit inspection (See AUTO UP/DOWN FUNCTION DOES NOT OPERATE to AUTO UP OPERATION DOES NOT FULLY CLOSE POWER WINDOW (JAM PROTECTION FUNCTION IS ACTIVATED) ).
- Go to next step.
- Pre-check (See
PRE-CHECK ).
- ADJUST, REPAIR OR REPLACE
- Go to next step.
- RESET POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR
- If the AUTO switch (driver side switch) light of the power window master switch is blinking after the repair, reset the power window motor (See RESET ).
