How To Proceed With Troubleshooting

NOTE: Troubleshoot in accordance with the procedures as follows.

VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP

CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS CHECK AND SYMPTOM CHECK (See CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS CHECK )
1. Go to next step.
PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE )
1. When problem is not listed on problem symptoms table, proceed to A.
2. When problem is listed on problem symptoms table, proceed to B.
1. B: Go to step 5
2. A: Go to next step.
PERFORM TROUBLESHOOTING ACCORDING TO MALFUNCTION SYMPTOM
1. Pre-check (See PRE-CHECK ).
  1. Inspection with the hand-held tester (ECU DATA LIST).
  2. Inspection with the hand-held tester (ACTIVE TEST).
2. Circuit inspection (See AUTO UP/DOWN FUNCTION DOES NOT OPERATE to AUTO UP OPERATION DOES NOT FULLY CLOSE POWER WINDOW (JAM PROTECTION FUNCTION IS ACTIVATED) ).
1. Go to next step.
ADJUST, REPAIR OR REPLACE
1. Go to next step.
RESET POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR
1. If the AUTO switch (driver side switch) light of the power window master switch is blinking after the repair, reset the power window motor (See RESET ).
